Financial Services Portrait Day

The brief was to photograph the entire leadership team of a Munich-based financial services firm in a single working day — 24 individual portraits and 12 team images, all with a consistent look and minimal disruption to their schedule. We set up in our in-house studio and ran a tight, well-rehearsed rotation throughout the day.

Each portrait took around 15 minutes from arrival to wrap — covering the initial briefing, two or three lighting adjustments, and a selection of the best frames. The client provided a clear brand reference, which we matched precisely: clean background, natural-light complement, and an expression that reads as professional yet approachable.

All 36 retouched images were delivered within five business days, optimised for web, print, and LinkedIn. The set is now used across the firm's website, internal directory, press releases, and LinkedIn profiles.

A key requirement was reproducibility: the entire setup — lighting positions, camera settings, background, and retouching style — was documented so that new employees can be photographed at any point with the same look and feel, requiring minimal effort and no reshooting of the existing team.
